Our website address is https://gf100.org. GF100.org is the website of GF100 Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization celebrating the 100th anniversary of The Girl Friends, Inc. GF100 Inc. is a separate organization from The Girl Friends, Inc.

This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website, make a donation, buy from our store or sign up for updates, and how we use and protect it.

Information We Collect

We collect different types of information depending on how you use GF100.org:

  • Donations: your name, email address, gift amount, and any dedication or comment you choose to add.
  • Store orders: your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, and the items you order.
  • Email sign-up and contact forms: your name, email address and any message you send.
  • Payment information: payments are processed by PayPal. GF100 Inc. does not receive or store your full card or bank account number.
  • Website use: small files stored by your browser that the site needs to work, such as keeping items in your cart.

How We Use Your Information

  • To process donations and store orders
  • To send donation receipts and tax acknowledgments
  • To ship orders and answer questions
  • To send updates you asked to receive (you can unsubscribe at any time)
  • To keep the financial records a nonprofit is required to keep

Unless you choose to give anonymously, your first name and gift amount may appear on our Donor Wall. To have your name removed, email us at the address below.

How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with the service providers that help us operate, such as PayPal for payment processing, our website host and our email provider, and only as needed for them to do that work. Donation records are available to GF100 Inc.’s officers and accountants for recordkeeping and tax reporting. We may also share information when the law requires it.

How Long We Keep It

We keep donation and order records for as long as needed for tax and legal requirements. We keep email sign-up information until you unsubscribe.

Your Choices

You may ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, except records we must keep by law. You may unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new date.
